Values-Based Decision Making (VBDM) for Managers & Supervisors - An Integrity Consulting Product

Course Description

Participants gain improved awareness and appreciation of the impact their personal ethics and behavior play in decision-making and defining corporate and team culture. Participants learn the difference between 'right versus right' and 'right versus wrong' ethical paradigms while studying historical cases of both values-based and non-values-based organizations. Participants learn how to use and apply effective ethical decision making tools and processes in leadership roles and the impact of leader modeling on organizational culture. Participants also study the key leadership behaviors required to grow a culture of trust.  Participants will work in small groups to build a company specific ethical dilemma case study and apply the six-step decision making process, including the corporations Vision, Mission and Core Values to identify an ethical solution to the dilemma. Participants will also complete a customized exercise to apply any corporate compliance and code of conduct standards to a variety of case studies.
